Project context

DARE needed to support people dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, worry, and insomnia without making the product feel clinical or overwhelming. The app had to organize audio guides, daily challenges, mood tracking, progress, SOS support, and premium content around a calm and approachable mobile experience.

Scope delivered

The work included mobile and web UX/UI for iOS and Android, content architecture, mood tracking, audio guidance, SOS support, international expansion support, prototypes, usability testing, stakeholder presentations, and design-system work.

Product and UX work

  • Designed mobile flows for anxiety audio guides, SOS support, daily challenges, and mood journaling
  • Structured content discovery, progress tracking, premium resources, and personalized support paths
  • Created UI states for calm focused sessions, guided exercises, and returning user progress
  • Translated an evidence-based mental health method into a simple, supportive product experience

Outcome

The redesign contributed to a clearer mental-health product experience and supported expansion into Portuguese and German markets through research-led iteration and localized product flows.

Design focus

The work centered on evidence-based healthcare UX, emotionally sensitive mobile flows, accessibility-conscious interfaces, internationalized product experiences, and research-led mental-health product improvements.
